What plan of Housecall Pro do I need?
Any paid plan works. The integration uses HCP's REST API which is included on Essentials, MAX, and MAX Enterprise. We do not require a specific tier.
Does Alex handle recurring service plans and service agreements?
Yes. Alex checks for active service agreements on the customer record and prices the call correctly (free member call vs. non-member rate). New signups can be captured too and passed to your team for setup.
How does Alex handle rescheduling and cancellations?
Alex can reschedule any existing HCP appointment on the caller's behalf as long as the technician window is available. Cancellations get flagged and passed to your dispatcher for confirmation.
Can Alex send the HCP appointment confirmation SMS automatically?
Yes. HCP fires its own booking confirmation SMS the moment Alex creates the job. Customer gets the same experience they would get from your best dispatcher.
