Google Business Profile and local SEO, done every week.
We claim and optimize your Google Business Profile, post to it weekly, reply to every review within 1 business day, and build the schema, listings and town pages that help you show up in local results. Included in every Forge Sites plan from $397 a month. No contract.
- No promises
- No one can promise you the top spot on Google, and we will not. Anyone promising the map pack in a week is guessing.
- Our own site
- We run the same playbook on our own site, which averaged position 2.4 on Google for the search "ai receptionist for hvac in atlanta" (Google Search Console, April to August 2026). A small search, but a real result.
Six things we do for you, every month.
This is the full Google Business Profile and local SEO scope. It is part of every Forge Sites plan, not an add-on.
Profile claim and optimization
We claim and verify your listing, then fill it out properly: categories, services, service area, hours, attributes, description and photos.
A post every week
A new Google Business Profile post each week, so your listing stays current. You do not write them or log into Google.
Review replies
A written reply to every review within 1 business day, good or bad. An unanswered one-star review is often the first thing a caller reads.
SEO basics on your site
LocalBusiness schema, your name, address and phone matching everywhere they are listed, and a Google Maps embed tying the site to the profile.
A rank dashboard
Where you show up for the local searches that matter to you, over time. No monthly PDF of vanity charts.
Site edits whenever you ask
New service, new town, new hours. You send it, we change it. Pages that go stale stop earning their place.
The questions owners ask before they hire anyone.
What does Google Business Profile management include?
Claiming and verifying your listing, filling out categories, services, hours and photos, a new post every week, a reply to every review within 1 business day, and keeping your name, address and phone the same everywhere you are listed.
The difference that matters is setup versus management. A one-time setup fills in the fields and leaves. A profile that is never posted to and has unanswered reviews goes stale, and it is competing with profiles that are kept current.
To see whether a listing is bringing in calls, read what Google’s Calls number does and does not count in Google Business Profile call tracking.
How much does it cost?
It is included in every Forge Sites plan: Sites Pro at $397 a month, Sites Plus at $597 and Sites Max at $897. There is no separate SEO retainer and no contract.
The tiers differ in what sits on top of the search work, not in the search work itself. Sites Plus adds a chat assistant on your site. Sites Max adds a Forge Voice line with 500 minutes a month, so the calls your listing brings in get answered.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Longer than anyone selling it likes to admit. A new profile needs time for Google to verify it, crawl your site and connect your listings. An established profile can move sooner. What you control is how soon the work starts.
Profile views and direction requests usually move first. Placement in the map results for your main service and town follows. Rankings for individual service pages take longest, because they depend on content and links building up over time.
What is the map pack, and how do you get into it?
The map pack is the block of three businesses on a map above the normal Google results. Google says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence.
- Relevance: your categories, services and the words on your site matching what people search.
- Distance: your address and service area. Nobody can change this one for you.
- Prominence: reviews, how recent they are, your replies, your listings, and how well known your business is.
Distance is fixed. Relevance and prominence are the work, and that is what a managed profile and a well-built site go after.
Do I need SEO if I already have a website?
Usually. A website on its own rarely ranks locally without schema, a claimed Google Business Profile, matching listings and a clear tie to the towns you serve.
If your site is sound, we do the search work on top of it. If the site is holding you back, a rebuild is part of Sites Pro at the same $397 a month. Either way, you keep your domain.
Who do you do local SEO for?
Service businesses: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, handyman, roofing, landscaping, salons and field-service teams. We are based in Calhoun, Georgia and work with businesses across North Georgia and in other states.
Local SEO is won town by town and trade by trade, so your pages, your listings and your profile’s service area all have to agree. If you are somewhere else and want to know what it would take, tell us the trade and the town.
The same search work at every tier.

Google Business Profile management, answered.
Do you manage my Google Business Profile, or just set it up?
We manage it for as long as you are on the plan. We claim, verify and optimize it first, then post every week and reply to every review within 1 business day.
Is Google Business Profile management sold on its own?
No. It is part of every Forge Sites tier: Sites Pro at $397 a month, Sites Plus at $597 and Sites Max at $897. There is no separate retainer and no contract.
Do I keep ownership of my Google Business Profile?
Yes. It stays in your own Google account. We are added as a manager so we can post, edit and reply to reviews, and you can remove that access at any time.
Can you do local SEO if Forge did not build my website?
Yes. We can add schema, fix your listings and add a Google Maps embed to a site you already own. If the site itself is holding you back, a rebuild is part of Sites Pro.
How do I see whether it is working?
Every plan includes a rank dashboard. It shows where you appear for your chosen local searches over time, so you do not have to take our word for it.
Let us take the profile. You take the calls.
