SMS Messaging Policy
Forge Development Studio LLC ("Forge," "we") may send SMS text messages in connection with the services you use. This page explains how we use SMS, how to opt in and opt out, and the disclosures required by US 10DLC / A2P regulations and industry (CTIA) standards.
When we send SMS
We only send SMS when you have explicitly opted in. The categories are:
Forge Voice customer messages
- Call summaries: after the AI agent takes a call, we may text you (the business owner) a summary with the caller's name, number, reason for calling, and any booked appointment.
- Appointment confirmations & reminders: if the agent books an appointment with your customer, we may text both you and the customer a confirmation and reminder.
- Low-balance / top-up receipts: we may text you when your account balance is low, when an auto-reload succeeds, or when your account is suspended.
Forge Partner Program messages
- Partner announcements: program updates, new asset drops, spiff alerts (limited-time bonuses).
- Conversion notifications: text alerts when a customer you referred signs up or churns.
- Payout confirmations: texts when a monthly commission payout is sent.
Transactional alerts
- Two-factor authentication if you enable it on your account.
- Account security notices (logins from new devices, password resets).
We do not send bulk marketing SMS to lists we did not collect through explicit opt-in, we do not buy SMS lists, and we never share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
How to opt in
You opt in when you do any of the following:
- Check the "text me" checkbox on a Forge signup or contact form
- Reply
YES, START, or UNSTOP to any of our messages
- Provide your phone number when signing up for the Forge Voice customer portal or Forge Partner Program with the understanding that you will receive transactional messages at that number
- Configure your Forge Voice agent to send call summaries to your phone (consent is captured during setup)
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed, and no further SMS will be sent. If you re-subscribe later, reply UNSTOP or START.
You can also opt out by:
- Emailing support@forgedev.studio with "SMS opt out" in the subject
- Turning off SMS in your customer portal or partner dashboard settings

Frequency
Message frequency varies:
- Forge Voice customers: typically one text per customer call handled by the agent, plus occasional billing / account messages. Higher-volume businesses may see 50+ texts per day during business hours.
- Partners: typically 1-4 texts per week for announcements, plus event-driven notifications when a conversion or payout occurs.
- Transactional: only when events occur (2FA, security alerts).
Message & data rates
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Forge does not charge you for the SMS itself, but your carrier may. Check with your carrier for details.
Supported carriers
All major US carriers are supported: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, MetroPCS, US Cellular, Cricket, Boost, Virgin Mobile, and most MVNOs. SMS delivery is best-effort; carriers may delay, filter, or fail to deliver messages for reasons outside Forge's control.
Privacy & data
Phone numbers and message content are handled according to our Privacy Policy. In short:
- We do not sell phone numbers.
- We do not share phone numbers with third-party marketers.
- We share numbers and message content with our messaging infrastructure provider (Twilio) only to deliver the SMS you opted into.
- We retain message logs for operational, compliance, and dispute resolution purposes.
10DLC / A2P compliance
Forge messages US mobile numbers via A2P (Application-to-Person) 10-Digit Long Code (10DLC) routes registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR) through our carrier partner, Twilio. Our registered brand is Forge Development Studio LLC. Registered campaigns include:
- Customer Care / Mixed: transactional messages to Forge Voice customers (call summaries, billing, 2FA).
- Customer Care / Mixed: appointment confirmations sent to customers of Forge Voice businesses, with consent captured at point of call.
- Low Volume Mixed: partner-program announcements and payout notifications, to opted-in partners only.
